The phrase “art of being happy when you’re not sure where you’re going” feels like the job description for being alive right now. It suggests happiness as a practice that can coexist with uncertainty, instead of depending on a perfectly mapped-out future

Yessss I personally feel that fear of uncertainty can be such a happiness stealer, so it’s a real art to be able to sit with it.

This was free therapy. I mean that in the best possible way. And eerily exactly what I needed to read today.

Thanks so much, Radhika! Am glad it resonated :)

This has been one of the most intriguing and profound thing I have read in a while, the concept of the "waiting rooms" makes me ponder so much!

Love the depth

This hits very deep. I can relate to almost every point.

Thanks for sharing. It's making me reflect.

I think I need a session of journaling after reading this.😂😂

Love the idea of not worrying about one true path! I know I’d be happy in so many versions of my life, but I’ll only live 1 version.

Thank you, Grace! Very well put - I needed that reminder today too ;)

A very refreshing essay. I loved the permission to dream and allow different versions of yourself. It gives freedom if anything can be true 🫶🏻
