Loved the article!

Just like how professional chefs say “The better the quality of your ingredients, the better the dish will be”, similarly “the better your content diet, the better your creation will be”

I use chrome extensions like “Unhook” which doesn’t show YouTube recommendations and sidebar, which helps with consuming content intentionally.

What an article! I don’t know how you do it but you always manage to dissect the most relevant topics with painstaking precision and articulate them in the most thoughtful ways.

I’ve also been trying to consume more intentionally lately, just to give my brain space to breathe. Will definitely try out the tips and recommendations you mentioned!

Your articles are always so on point!

The idea makes me reflect on the project I am working on. While chess engines could provide the optimal move in theory, it is oftenly not the best move human would play. This is analogous to how algorithms provide optimal content we desire, but not what's best for us.

Also, I am really curious about how do you refine your writing, and are there any tips for writing such high-quality content?

Thanks so much, Samuel! Love the chess x algorithm analogy - I agree! And thanks for the kind words re: writing. Tbh right now the process is sitting with the idea for quite some time, coming up with some sort of framework to distill the idea, and then editing as much as I can. Looking forward to reading your stuff!

While reading, I was about to quote Cultural Tutor and then you mentioned his quote from the interview with David Perell... the irony.

Loved the post, I particularly agree with re-reading more books. Depth against breath.

Thanks Pablo!! Yes haha the cultural tutor quote clearly stuck with us.

So curious about your "To investigate” list! Love the idea of it. Always a fan of intentional consumption. In Kevin Roose's Futureproof, one of his actions is to turn off autoplay on YouTube. I haven't turned it back on since.

Ooo turning off auto play - that’s another one to add to the list. Thanks Becky!

I am constantly in awe of how you think - this was great. Love the 50/25/25 split too 😊

(Also, I need an update on your apple notes 😂)
